Tom Clayman is the founder of Tom’s Pet Service. Tom is a native New Yorker who began work in office services after college. A lifetime dog owner and animal lover he decided after a dozen years to follow his muse – working with animals.
For several years before working as an independent dog walker and pet sitter Tom was a valued volunteer at Animal Care and Control and the ASPCA. This led to his decision to found Tom’s Pet Service. To more fully prepare himself he held positions as a pet handler at doggy day care centers in Manhattan and Brooklyn, most recently at Sugar Mutts Rescue.
