Tom Clayman is the founder of Tom’s Pet Service in New York City. Tom is a native New Yorker who began work in office services after college. A lifetime dog owner and animal lover he decided after a dozen years to follow his muse – working with animals.
For several years before working as an independent dog walker and pet sitter Tom was a valued volunteer at Animal Care and Control and the ASPCA. This led to his decision to found Tom’s Pet Service. To more fully prepare himself he held positions as a pet handler at doggy day care centers in Manhattan and Brooklyn, most recently at Sugar Mutts Rescue.
Additionally he has sought further professional training earning certification and awards as a Professional Dog Walker (Dog Walking Academy); Pro Dog Training Core Skills Award (Canine Training Academy) and a Pet CPR certificate.
Tom is thrilled to offer his experience, kindness, and ” dog whispering” nature to New Yorkers who want professional, trusted service for their beloved pets.
